Funding opportunity - CHIST-ERA
Nodes are hereby informed that the CHIST-ERA project has an open call for proposals for Open & Re-usable Research Data & Software. The funding opportunity may be of interest to the following Nodes, as they are in eligible countries: Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland and UK. New Head of Operations joins the ELIXIR Hub
Ivana Veri (ivana.versic [at] elixir-europe.org) has joined ELIXIR as our new Head of Operations! She takes over from Susanna Repo, who will remain part of ELIXIR until the end of 2022 to ensure a smooth transition.

The ELIXIR RDA-Activities Focus Group are pleased to share a report of the 19th Research Data Alliance Plenary event which took place in June of 2022. This report was compiled by the Focus Group members who attended the event with the intentions of summarising and sharing core information from the event sessions.
The fifth Biohackathon Europe was held on 7-11 November 2022 in Paris, France. ELIXIR welcomed over 300 participants from around the world working collaboratively on 35 hacking projects covering a wide range of topics.

2023-2024 Horizon Europe Work Programmes
The call for workshops at All Hands Meeting 2023 is now open. This is for all ELIXIR Platforms, Communities, Focus Groups and Node Officers (TeC, TrC, Node Coordinators etc). Submissions should be made through Oxford Abstracts and should be of interest to more than one ELIXIR group.

ELIXIR is coordinating a proposal in response to Horizon Europe call, HORIZON-INFRA-2023-EOSC-01-06 on Trusted environments for sensitive data management in EOSC. We would like to hear from ELIXIR Nodes which would be interested in participating in this call, and have prepared a questionnaire on current capabilities for secure data handling to capture such Expressions of Interest.
