Post-Doc/IR Bioinformatician
ELIXIR France is looking for an experienced and dynamic bioinformatician with a strong interest in and solid knowledge of methods for analyzing Next Generation Sequencing data (in particular, genome assembly and annotation) to work on a work-package of the H2020 ELIXIR/EXCELERATE project.
The purpose of this work-package is to set up a European network of experts in genome assembly and annotation, collect from them the best practices in this field and disseminate widely this information. Your main task will be to collect the relevant information from the IFB experts in this field according to different criteria: the type of NGS data, the type of organisms, genome size and complexity (from bacterias to higher eukaryote organism).
