ELIXIR and US National Cancer Institute build partnership with staff exchange

ELIXIR and the US National Institutes of Healths National Cancer Institute (NCI) have built on their partnership with a staff exchange to facilitate knowledge sharing. The five-month exchange, funded by ELIXIR, brought together five ELIXIR Nodes, the ELIXIR Hub and NCIs Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics.

Outcomes of the 22nd ELIXIR Board meeting, 5-6 November 2024

The 22nd ELIXIR Board meeting took place from 5-6 November 2024 in Luxembourg.

We are happy to announce that the ELIXIR Board approved the Membership application submitted by the Republic of Malta and invited the country to ratify the ELIXIR Consortium Agreement (ECA). Malta will become a full Member in ELIXIR once it has completed the national ratification process.

ELIXIR is collaborating with the Metaproteomics Initiative to advance multi-omics microbiome research through their global network of metaproteomics experts. The Initiative promotes knowledge sharing, education, and standardisation in the field. This collaboration allows ELIXIR to tap into the Initiatives expertise to better integrate metaproteomics into microbiome studies for a more comprehensive view of microbiome functioning.
